Snorkeling dilemma "shaving or shaving pas." This is the question I know, I know." It does not seem like a big problem of having to shave but I would rather not lug any extra stuff on vacation I have. Then there is the feeling of itching and nu I get when did not to have one. I decided to dedicate a space for the crowd of hairy snorkelling there with some things to do and the rules and advice try to bypass this "hairy" dilemma.
The first tip gets a good mask with a silicone skirt sweet. Avoid any mask is not silicone because silicone comply face better than markets good masks in seasonal aisles of stores "Mart". Silicone is more expensive, but it is more resistant to the elements such as ultraviolet rays so it will have a better life. If you are not sure if the mask is silicone, a good way to check to see if it has tempered glass lenses. Lenses will have "hardened" written on the glass. Manufacturer who spend money on tempered glass is more likely to use silicone to skirt so. Mask skirt should have what is called a double seal, which will create a more effective barrier that masks without.
If you're like most people, you might think "if it leaks tighten it. Although this works with faucets and other, tightening mask strap will only reduce the ability of the silicone skirt to conform to the face. Just smile or by removing the tuba will result in leaks from other areas. Granted, you may need to play with how tight or lose the mask strap should be, but the position of the strip of mask on the back of the head may resolve problems much more that you think. Positioning of the higher mask strap at the back of the head will draw at the bottom of the stricter skirt lip but will still allow the rest of the skirt of mask to comply with the other facial features.
or may have heard people suggest to put oil on moustache gels to create a better seal. Although this really works from oil gels like Vaseline will deteriorate the silicone over time and is therefore not recommended. Using a food-grade silicone gel will work and will not affect the silicone skirt. It is a very viable means of caring for leakage due to mustache, this is actually a bite get of out of the moustache, silicone gel when you are finished with tuba.
If you have a very thick, thinning mustache will help. I've known guys to go so far to trim their moustache to create a wider gap between the nose and upper lip. This allows internal mask skirt seal to seal directly to the skin of the upper lip. I have trouble to see what it always reminds me how Adolph Hitler was his moustache.
These are a few suggestions. They may or may not work for those with moustaches. If you've tried these and don't have succeeded, it's time to kiss goodbye moustache and see what you've been missing. Anyone with other advice or suggestions that have not been registered is strongly encouraged to let me know them by e-mail.
