Nominated for six Golden Globes and seven Emmys, including best series - comedy, Sanford & sons became one of the shows first in the history of television to be almost entirely centered around African-American characters. Inspired, the British TV show Steptoe and son, the series presented talent underestimated comic engineering Redd Foxx (which the colour of the skin and bad language prevented him from becoming a superstar of the decades earlier). An original idea of All In The Family creator Norman Lear, Sanford & sons marked the start of a decade of classic sitcom for the years 1970 prolific TV writer - Maude (1972), Good Times (1974) and The Jeffersons (1975), the other being. Forged with split memorable and proposed to humor, Sanford & son was a Top 10 Nielsen note show: each year, in which he was released with the exception of the ? of his final season (ranking a respectable # 27)

Sanford & sons, defined in the district of Watts in Los Angeles, follows the life of Fred Sanford (Redd Foxx), a provider of junk African-American from age 65 who shares his business with his son, aged 34, Lamont (Demond Wilson). Wife of Fred Elizabeth disappeared twenty years earlier, he often evokes sympathy Lamont by clutch his heart and proclaiming, "Oh, I just join Elizabeth! But Fred those fatal infarction, still survives continue to disperse (often made by Esther sister-in-law) sarcastic putdowns and racist stereotyping remarks against whites and Hispanics (mostly friend Julio Lamont). Using guilt to manipulate his ambitious son to stay and help manage store rescue instead of pursuing other initiatives, Fred Sanford spends most of his days lounging around the House (her junk store and House are one and the same) and hanging out with friends - Grady, Melvin and Bubba? well written and hilarious, Sanford & son is actor Redd Foxx at his absolute best?

Features of DVD Sanford & sons (season 4) a number of hilarious episodes including the first season of "The Surprise Party" in which Fred returns home after a long stay in St. Louis (i.e. network contract negotiations). Win a party surprise for Fred, but celebrating awry when Fred and Esther look here where they left (with their continuous battles). Meanwhile, Fred listens Lamont and Grady, the situation gets worse? other episodes of season 4 include "Va's Business" in which an accounting error leads to Fred and Lamont due the Government more money they have, and "The stand-in" in which Fred and Lamont are forced to musician friend Fred figurante Bowlegs when a member of its group gets injured?
